New Toyota Tacoma Tackles the Ocean Lifestyle

Surfers are true adventures and that's why Toyota has teamed up with Oakley to build the the Oakley Surf Tacoma. On November 1st, the special surf edition Tacoma was debuted by none other than Australian surfing pro, Tom Whitaker.
Not all waves can be accessed by simply getting off the highway so Toyota made sure the Tacoma was ready for any type of conditions. They added an Icon stage 3 lift kit; Flowmaster stainless steel exhaust; front coilover system; and Walker Evans 17 x 8 bead lock wheels with a flat black finish mounted to BF Goodrich 285/75-17 all-terrain tires.
Just getting to the waves is not the whole story. Once you make it to the beach the truck still needs to perform. That's why Toyota made sure there were board racks for up to 8 surfboards, Wet Okole Hawaii seat covers to protect from sand and water, a big sound system and even a built in shower to rinse off the ocean water.
Like many concept vehicles, we don't know if this one will actually make it into production, but surfers around the world would be happy if it did. You can still come down to Roberts Toyota on 1027 Nashville Highway in Columbia, TN 38401 to check out the latest 2012 Toyota Tacoma trucks today.
