Your New Toyota Hybrid is Efficient; Now Make the Most of It

Do you own, or are you thinking about leasing or purchasing, a new Toyota hybrid model? This could include any members of the Toyota Prius family, the new Toyota Highlander Hybrid, and the Toyota Camry Hybrid. If so, you may question how to get the best fuel efficiency from these vehicles. Here are some tips to help you get started.

Have you heard the chatter about the compact and efficient Toyota Prius c? The "c" stands for city because this new Prius is a more urban friendly version of the standard Toyota Prius that's known for being much more affordable than the bigger model, despite the fact that it has made only minor sacrifices (such as slightly less refined interior and ride refinement) to achieve this deduction in price.

Toyota Prius c Wins with New Game of LIFE Campaign

The new Toyota Prius c has been a huge hit since it first debuted last month, and we expect its popularity to continue to grow as people begin to hear and learn more about the fuel- and cost-efficient vehicle. One of the ways the 2012 Prius c will gain exposure is through a new, integrated marketing campaign: "The Game of Life with Prius c" campaign, which focuses on the classic childhood board-game and the new vehicle.

Japanese automaker Toyota may be primarily concerned with building and producing automobiles, but the company is also very concerned about the world around us. In partnership with Audubon, a second-century conservationist organization, Toyota has launched TogetherGreen. One of the latest TogetherGreen projects is the Spring Greening Challenge, a Facebook application that showcases data about making green choices around your home, weekly conservation challenges, and opportunities to win prizes.

Toyota Teams Up with Subaru for Show-Stopping Coupe

Toyota may be one of the auto industry's leaders in terms of design, but that doesn't mean it's stingy with its ideas. Recently, at the 2012 Edmonton Motor Show in Canada, the Japanese automaker paired with one of its rivals, Subaru, to delight show-goers with a unique, sporty coupe. This coupe is divided into two names, however: the Subaru RZ and the Scion FR-S, both of which feature Toyota styling and a rear-wheel-drive Subaru mechanical foundation. The coupes are available with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and uses its Subaru boxer-four engine to produce 200 horsepower.

Toyota Corolla Has Become World's Best-Selling Vehicle of All Time

At one time it was the Ford Model-T, then it was the BMW Beetle, and then it was the Ford F-Series of pickup trucks. Now, it's the Toyota Corolla. What exactly are we talking about? The world's best-selling vehicle ever, of course! The Corolla recently passed the Ford F-Series in overall sales with an impressive total 37.5 million units sold- approximately 2.5 million ahead of the F-Series. (So, the Corolla has been ahead for some time, but it's just been officially announced!)

Toyota Partners with Intel to Develop New Technologies

The continuous growth in popularity for iPads and Smart Phones throughout the world is a testament to what our current generations search out and latch onto: technology. New technologies are constantly being invented and refined, and the automobile industry has to keep up with these trends. That's why Toyota has decided to partner with technology giant Intel to create a new automotive infotainment platform. Although the details remain vague about the under-wraps project, Roberts Toyota can tell you that the new, integrated technology will, in the words of Toyota,"target appropriate methods of providing information to drivers through in-vehicle systems, as well as information technologies that would enable seamless communication between on-board information systems and nearby information systems."1

Toyota Joins Google+

Google+ has been in the news a lot recently. It's a new social networking site that's a lot like Facebook, except that it's more focused on companies and organizations. Google+ allows its members the ability to "follow" these companies for information and updates, and it allows the companies the chance to build fans and share brand content. The new Toyota Google+ page can be found at (https://plus.google.com/109401964142949249458/posts).
