Toyota wants to make sure that all passengers are safe. The 2019 Corolla is standard with eight airbags to add extra protection in the event of a collision. Additional collision protection includes the Whiplash-Injury-Lessening (WIL) front seats. These seats help to reduce the severity of whiplash injuring during rear-end collisions. Of course, Toyota wants the passengers in the back seat to be safe and secure as well. The LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) system adds extra security and support for the younger passengers in the back.
The 2019 Corolla comes standard with ToyotaCare and Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P). The TSS-P safety suite includes features such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
