Helpful tips for washing your car in the summer season!

If you plan on washing your vehicle, try to park it in a shaded area or under an overhang to prevent the exterior from getting so hot. When your vehicle has a lower surface temperature, the water does not evaporate off of it so quickly and gives you more time to clean it. If you do not have access to a shaded area, consider going to a self-serve car wash station as they are usually shaded.

Gather all of your washing supplies before you begin so that you can work in a quick and orderly fashion once you start the process. Check the label of the cleaning product that you plan on using to ensure that it does not say anything about using it in direct sunlight.

Begin the washing process by cleaning your vehicle’s wheels. From there, wash your vehicle in sections. This will allow you to wash, rinse and dry the area before the soap and water dry and leave unwanted streaks and marks. Using a microfiber towel to dry your vehicle will leave you with the best results.
