Roberts Toyota, located at 1027 Nashville Highway in Columbia, TN, has a lifetime warranty on almost any vehicle in our inventory. It is our way of standing behind the vehicles that we sell to our customers. Below is some information on this warranty, so you can understand this impressive coverage.
What is Covered with the Lifetime Warranty?
As you may know, auto repairs can be quite expensive. When you are on a budget, a mechanical failure can lead to a lot of financial stress. The goal of our lifetime warranty is to provide you with the peace of mind that you are covered in the case of an unexpected mechanical breakdown.
The warranty protection offered by our dealership is quite extensive. It covers many of the most important systems and components in your vehicle, including:
Engine
Your car's engine is the heart of your vehicle. Without your vehicle's engine working at its best, you won't be able to reliably complete all of your necessary daily travels. The good news about the Lifetime Warranty Coverage at Roberts Toyota is that you can count on many of the major components in your vehicle's engine system being covered. Some of the components covered include the cylinder block, head, and all internal parts, valve covers, flywheel, engine control computer, water pump, fuel pump, oil pan, oil pump, engine mounts, timing chain belt/cover, seals, and gaskets.
Transmission
The transmission system is an important part of providing you with a smooth and comfortable ride. When something fails in this system, it can often be costly to fix. Luckily, the Lifetime Warranty offered by the team at Roberts Toyota covers the vast majority of the components in this system. Covered components in the transmission system include torque converter, transmission mounts, seals and gaskets, transfer case and internal parts, engine control computer, and clutch cover.
Rear Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive Systems
When you shop for your next vehicle at Roberts Toyota and have the benefit of the Lifetime Warranty, you can expect that many of the major and minor repairs of your front wheel and rear wheel drive systems will be covered. Examples of components that are covered in these systems include the drive shaft, internal parts, bearings, gaskets, and seals.
What is Not Covered by the Lifetime Warranty?
Your next question about the Lifetime Warranty is probably about what isn't covered. The good news is that the coverage that you receive is comprehensive. You should expect that any routine maintenance needs, like oil changes, brake services, air filter replacements, tire rotations, wheel alignments, battery replacements, and coolant flushes won't be covered. Also, any repairs to vehicles that have been damaged because of an accident or collision won't be covered. Tires, loss of wages because of repairs, rental reimbursements, and towing are also not part of this coverage. Toyota vehicles with altered odometers will also not be covered under our Lifetime Warranty protection.
Is There a Deductible for the Lifetime Warranty?
There is a small deductible for the Lifetime Warranty. The coverage will cover everything in a covered repair or replacement, including labor and parts, outside of this deductible. It is comforting to know that you will only be responsible for the minimal deductible and not the entire bill when you are faced with a catastrophic mechanical failure. This is one of the reasons that the Lifetime Warranty at Roberts Toyota is so popular.
Can My Lifetime Warranty be Disqualified?
The answer is yes. You will need to maintain eligibility for this warranty coverage. The first thing you will need to do is keep up with your routine car maintenance as outlined in your vehicle's owner's manual. You will also need to keep records of all of your auto maintenance.
Additionally, your warranty will be disqualified if you use your vehicle for commercial purposes, such as rental, taxi, snow removal, police or emergency services, or delivery. Your lifetime warranty is only valid for as long as you own the car. If you sell the vehicle, the warranty is non-transferable.
