Fun Kid’s Games to Play in the Car

family inside of carThe age of your children may decide which game you decide to play in the car, but there are plenty of options no matter what age group. There are even plenty of games that you don’t need any tools or props for! Consider giving one or two of these games a try on your upcoming road trip to help pass the time!

  • License Plate Game – This classic road trip game is always a great way to keep the kids alert and focused on something. The goal of the game is to try and find vehicles on the trip that have license plates from all of the different states. Once you find a plate from a state, cross it off the list and try to get all 50!
  • I Spy – This is another classic that is great for younger kids. Take turns finding something that you can see and let others try to guess what you’re talking about!
  • 20 Questions – This game can be as easy or as difficult as you make it which means it is a great option for people of all ages. Take turns thinking of a person, place, thing or idea and allow the other participants to go around asking questions and guessing what it is until they get it right.
  • Tic Tac Toe – Just grab a pen and paper and play a few games of this childhood favorite!
  • Hangman – Similar to Wheel of Fortune, someone thinks of a phrase and leaves an underscore for each letter. The other player then guesses a variety of letters and tries to solve the phrase before the body is complete.
