Enabling & Disabling Lane Departure Alert

Enabling Lane Departure Alert

Press the Lane Departure Alert button on the steering wheel

A Lane Departure Alert icon should appear in your vehicle’s multi-informational display (MID) to verify that the system has been enabled.

Your MID should also display one of the following messages:

“LDA ON. Steering Assist Active.” Lane Departure Alert has been enabled. With Steering Assist active, your vehicle may automatically make small corrective steering inputs to help keep your vehicle in its lane.

“LDA ON. Steering Assist Inactive.” Lane Departure Alert has been enabled. With Steering Assist inactive, your vehicle will only alert you of unintentional lane drifting.

“LDA Unavailable Below Approx. 32 MPH.” Lane Departure has been enabled but cannot operate at the current speed. The system will activate once speed reached 32 mph or above.

Disabling Lane Departure Alert

Press the Lane Departure Alert button on the steering wheel

The Lane Departure Alert icon should disappear from your vehicle’s MID to verify that the system has been disabled.

Changing Lane Departure Alert Settings

Navigate to the Menu screen on your MID, then scroll to the LDA icon and select it.

Steering Assist Used to enable/disable the Steering Assist function.
Sensitivity (LDA icon) Used to adjust the sensitivity of the Steering Assist system (standard, high)
Alert Used to enable/disable Sway Warning alerts
Sensitivity

(coffee icon)

Used to adjust the sensitivity of the Sway Warning system (low, standard, high)
