This suite of safety features is made up of the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist and Road Sign Assist. Each of these features will alert drivers when they detect something that the driver may have missed. For example, the Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection will issue an audio and visual alert to the driver if it senses that the driver is drifting out of the current lane and not taking corrective steering actions. The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection will again alert drivers with an audio and visual alert when it detects an object or pedestrian in front of the vehicle and applies the brakes if necessary to stop in time.
